Admin Assistant

Manage student records, enquiries, and basic IT support to ensure seamless daily operations at NxtGen.

Role Overview

NxtGen Education is a training provider based in Oldham with an online learning platform offering courses designed to help learners develop practical skills and progress in their careers. We are seeking a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to support daily administrative operations and ensure smooth communication with students and internal teams.

Person Specification

  • Provide administrative support to the management and operations team.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries from students and partners.
  • Maintain and update student records and documentation accurately.
  • Assist with student enrolment processes and course administration.
  • Organise and manage office files, documents, and databases.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents as required.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal communications.
  • Support teams with general administrative tasks and CRM updates.
  • Provide basic IT support for staff and students on common technical issues (e.g. email access, login issues, printers, and internet connectivity).
  • Assist with setting up computers, user accounts, and basic software installations for staff and students.

Person Specification

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks, files, and schedules efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, email systems, and basic CRM platforms.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and document management.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Reliable, responsible, and customer-focused.
