Guided Learning Hours (GLH)
Guided Learning Hours (GLH) refer to the time spent receiving instruction, guidance, or supervision from an educator, such as a lecturer, tutor, or trainer. For each qualification, the GLH is set at 55 hours, as regulated by Ofqual.
Total Qualification Time (TQT)
Total Qualification Time (TQT) includes both GLH and the estimated hours a learner dedicates to independent study, preparation, and assessments conducted outside of direct supervision. The total time allocated for each qualification is 60 hours.
