About Course
Distressed behaviour in children can take various forms, such as anger, lack of attention, abuse, reluctance to socialize, self-harm, and risk of injury. It can lead to further mental issues in adolescence if left unaddressed. This online course aims to raise awareness of the causes of distressed behaviour, support appropriate ways to help a child, consider factors like mental health, learning disabilities, and sensory processing conditions, and understand UK legislation. It is suitable for those with little or no previous experience in the topic and is equivalent to a level 5 in Scotland.
