Award in Alcohol Awareness
Course Curriculum
This course is one unit split into manageable sections. These are:
Section 1: Know about the differences in alcohol unit strengths
Section 2: Know the possible causes of alcohol misuse
Section 3: Recognising some of the physical and psychological effects of alcohol misuse and being aware of the health issues associated with alcohol misuse.
Section 4: be aware of the effects that alcohol misuse can have on the others and recognise the effects of withdrawing from alcohol.
Section 5: know some of the agencies offering help and information about alcohol misuse.
